I want to acknowledge all the men in our lives. Our fathers, brothers, uncles, husbands, friends, co-workers, and any other relationship to us, we see you. We value and appreciate you and recognize that men are bruised just like us. Although the creation of comealongsideme.com was by a woman, the principles apply to women as well as to men. The blog is universal. I encourage men to come alongside another man to encourage him in the name of Jesus. Men, you have a testimony and a story. Use your voice to help others overcome.
The blog is universal
Just as women need a saved accountability partner for prayer, godly guidance, and encouragement, it’s equally important for men. Men have talents and skills they can use to come alongside a younger man to help him grow and mature. The Bible whether you are a man or a woman is the standard we use to ensure our actions, words, and life exemplify Jesus. The blog has posts about discernment, attitude, the tongue, the mind, our past, and more. The topics are timeless and are useful for anyone regardless of where you are in life.
In conclusion
Let us not forget that men are bruised and the same God that uses us, uses them. Ladies, we must pray for the men in our lives that they will allow Jesus to mend any brokenness, seen or unseen. Pray for the humbleness of heart and for the removal of any hesitation to receive Jesus. Ladies, let us also pray that we will be what Jesus would have us to be to encourage these men on their journey.
Men, start at home by being an example of what a godly, Christian man should be and do, and then branch out to encourage other men. You are leaders grooming future leaders.

Amen Carol!
While women are the weaker vessel, I agree that men have bruises ( no matter how tough they try to portray themselves to be ) and they need healing from God in the same exact way!
Great reminder!
Ashley, Amen! Praise God that His healing is available to all! I appreciate you and your comment!
Carol,
Great reminder! As someone who is married I often forget that my husband was also created in God’s image. I can become preoccupied with my own hurts that I don’t even want to acknowledge his. So grateful that your friend brought up men being bruised as well.
Heidi, Thank you for your transparency. I think we all at some point forget to acknowledge other people’s feelings, hurts, and bruises. Thank you for sharing!
