Bruises are what make up your story and testimony. It can be weight issues, infertility, career struggles, an addiction, bitterness, or anything that has caused a setback in your life. No matter what flaws, scars, or sin you were involved with, God can still use you. Your brokenness and bruises are no match for the all-powerful Jesus. Be willing to be used and share your story to help someone else rise above theirs. Celebrate your transformation and victories over sin by telling others about the love of Jesus.
The bruises of Jesus Christ
The wounds and bruises of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross are the ultimate gifts of love. When I think about this amazing gift, I want to shout about how His love transformed me. I want to share about His grace and mercy with others so they focus on how Jesus’ bruises conquered ours.
In conclusion
You have a voice, and you must use it to tell your story. It will help you to heal and heal others. Jesus is doing something new and great in each one of us. Sharing our testimony may be the only way some will ever hear about Jesus. There is nothing to be ashamed about because Christ has covered us with His love. Go forth and spread the good news of this love.

Carol you are such a sweetheart. You are so gentle and soft yet you share the truth. You make it comfortable for people to share their testimonies.
I stopped sharing mine. And I should not have. It was not the Lord who wanted me to stop sharing what HE had done in me and my life. It was the enemy.
I shared a few years ago. I stepped out of my comfort zone and it wasn’t easy and it was my first time and I am not good at speaking in front of the camera.
I was happy to share the path and Journey Christ brought me out of. Only to find out it was used against me by the wrong people and I was completely judged in a way that God has already forgiven me for. I was mocked.
So I stopped sharing. I tucked it away and became very scared to ever share it again.
This should be a celebration! If we are going to have any celebrations in this world….. THIS should be it!! Salvation and what Christ has done!!
I will be doing another testimony time via video.
Thanks for the encouragement Carol!
This time I won’t tuck it away!
Gods good! We can’t let the enemy use people to tear us down!
You’re a blessing!
Ashley, First let me say I am sorry that by you sharing your testimony and the love of Jesus others used it against you. What I’m thankful for is that you continued to call on Jesus and pressed on. Let us be in prayer for individuals that mock and that conviction comes upon their heart and God greatly uses them. This reminds me of Paul on the road to Damascus. Paul persecuted Christians and God got a hold of his heart and he was greatly used. Praying for you and thank you for sharing!
But here is a tiny bit of my testimony.
I was raised catholic.
After high school I choose a path of evil and went down hill. I got married young.
My past is filled with heavy alcohol addiction, the ring choice of a job, an abortion, and many wrong wrong evil choices in between it all. I had no relationship with the Lord and it was evident.
One day done with this life God was tugging on my heart and I was done living this life. Hungover and empty I cried in my closet begging for God to forgive me of this life and for his sovereign Grace and hand to pick me up out of the pit. The o my reason I am no longer living that life is because of GOD!!
Gods love is real and He wants a relationship with us all! His forgiveness is real!
I felt HIS love and forgiveness.
The next day I went to a local church and they happened to be doing a altar call and baptism. I about ran up there! I shared with the pastor what God did in my life the night before and was baptized that day!!
I have never gone back to that lifestyle or alcohol either. Gosh has cleansed me and I am a new Ashley since that day. Perfect…… definitely not! But this time I lean on God and walk with him!!
2 Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new
Ashley, Praise God a new creature because of Jesus Christ and praise God the old things are passed away. Your boldness in and for Christ is seen by so many and God is using you and will continue to bless you abundantly. Stay vigilant!
